Mark Peterson

Prayer for the Coming Revival
For the last four years, Mark has hosted a weekly prayer group of marketplace people at his office. The story of the Hebrides Revival in 1949 has had a profound impact on Mark's prayer life as he encourages others in greater prayer for revival. Mark can speak to the history of the Hebrides Revival, and offer current principles for travailing and prevailing prayer for revival. This session focuses on the hope and belief that revival is coming soon in answer to the faithful prayers of believers.

Carol Madison

Contending in Prayer for Spiritual Awakening
Based on Jesus' encouragement in Luke 18 to pray with persistence, this workshop defines a committed level of "contending prayer" that does not give up in desperation for another spiritual awakening in our communities and nation.

Informed Intercession for Community Transformation
Learn to pray effectively for  your community by understanding both the historical roots and the current spiritual realities. By researching our communities, we can assess the true needs and pray more strategically. This session can also include practical prayer walking experiences.

Carol Madison is a writer and editor who speaks frequently on prayer topics, especially related to prayer for revival and transformation. She is the former associate director of Prayer Transformation Ministries, but now has her own editorial business that serves three prayer ministries: PTM, Prayer First, and Global Day of Prayer. Madan Valvi

A Life of Intercession
How does intercession become a way of life? Using the example of the Greatest Intercessor, Jesus Christ, Madan explores the ministry of intercession: Standing in prayer between a Holy God and a sinful man. To be effective intercessors, we must first stand before God and develop intimacy with Him. Madan has extraordinary stories of God's grace in his life through answered prayer.

Madan Valvi was born in India and raised in a Hindu family. When he came to Christ, he felt God's call to the ministry of intercession for his family. Madan and his wife Deepali have worked among an unreached people group in northern India. He is now on staff with Campus Crusade, serving churches both nationally and internationally. Marion Bartels

Praying with Power for Those Still Needing Jesus
Do you desire a more active role in helping people come of faith in Jesus Christ? Marion's teaching takes a look at pre-evangelism prayer principles and why it is so important to call on the omnipotent God of the universe to reach down and work in people's lives before we do.

Marion Bartels has been teaching and speaking on prayer and the power it brings to life's situations for more than 15 years. She serves as vice chairman of United Prayer Ministry, an international organization found by Evelyn Christenson and based in St. Paul, MN.
