Kingdom-Principled, Church-Focused Prayer
Prayer Transformation Ministries is
dedicated to helping Gods people pray, prepare for, and experience transformation
that is Kingdom-principled and church-focused, meaning it is practical, focused, and most
of all true in the biblical sense.
What does this mean?
Kingdom-Principled:
Jesus prayer was Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in
heaven (Matthew 6:10).
- This means that we do not teach
methodologies or programs to be implemented or purchased as a path to
transformation. Each congregation and community must learn to hear from the Lord for their
own unique situation and destiny.
- This means that transformation is
presence-based. It is birthed, sustained, and spread by the pervading,
manifest presence of God in a communityand not by human organization and planning.
It is beyond human endeavor and expectation.
- This means teaching the Kingdom principles
that accompany transformation are not based in human programs or institutions.
These Kingdom principles include:
- Humility
- Repentance
- Unity
- Prayer
- Servanthood
- Desperation
- Obedience
- Compassion
Church-Focused:
The principles of transformation must be communicated and understood in ways that can
be translated into the life of any congregation that seeks to know and embrace them,
making them relevant for that community. God works through the local church, and we value
its role and place.
- Pastoral and Church Leadership
- Creating an awareness by exposure to
Transformation videos and other materials to begin or expand an understanding of what
God is doing by way of transformation in the world today. (Click
here for resources.)
- Availability to Fire Tours and
other means of personal experiencing contemporary transformation in various locations
around the world. This means actually traveling to a place to witness firsthand the power
of God to heal the land, as well as hear the testimonies of those who have been
transformed through repentance and desperation for God. (Check www.sentinelgroup.org for "Fire Tours.")
- Educating your congregation by teaching on
principles of transformation and showing examples of transformed societies.
- Offer training and consultation that
includes staff prayer retreats, Culture of Prayer teaching, learning to
inquire and hear from the Lord," and walking in the unique ways God leads
individual congregations
- Ultimately, being Kingdom-principled
and church-focused means:
- Practical: Ways that you
can understand for your life today.
- Focused: Pointed and
relevant for the purpose of attracting the
- presence of God in transformation.
- True (Biblical): Able to
support and demonstrate from the Scripture in a true and balanced manner.
