The Biblical Basis for Identificational
Repentance
In Jeremiah 5:1, the Lord declares,
If you can find but one person who deals honestly and seeks the truth, I will
forgive the city. There are many biblical examples of those (Ezra, Nehemiah, Daniel)
who repented on behalf of their people, nation, or cityand God responded in a
powerful way. This identificational repentance can be a key to seeing transformation come
to entire communities. Click here to read or download
